The Standing Groin Stretch

Here’s a good alternative to a standard inner thigh stretch.  To begin, stand with your feet several feet apart from each other.  Place your hands on your hips and make sure to keep your abs tightened so that you may protect your lower back.  Now bend your right knee as you fully straighten your left leg.  Bend deeper to add intensity to your stretch.  Hold for 20 seconds and then switch legs and repeat.

Lying Quad Stretch

Try this alternative to a traditional quad stretch.  You can start by lying on your belly on the floor.  Prop you torso up a few inches with your left hand.  Reach back and grab your right foot with your right hand.  Press your right thigh into the floor as you press up with your left hand.  Hold the stretch for 20 seconds and then switch legs and repeat the stretch for the same amount of time.
